HDTV through TV?

hello all -
I just want to make sure that my little "budget" setup will work as expected. I want to get a 27" HDTV to get some OTA HD stations, and also want to get the Toshiba SD-H400 DVD player/80-hour Tivo. Using the HDTV tuner in the TV, I can record shows on the Tivo in HDTV....right? Will I only need to use a single set of component video cables? Sorry, but I'm very new to this, but very excited.

You will only be recording in SD, as the DVD/TiVo is a stand alone and can only pass through the SD signals from the box. You will not get the HD channels to pass through or record through the TiVo. You need an HD TiVo to record OTA and DirecTV HD signals.

You can send s-video to the TiVo and Component to the TV. You will be able to TiVo everything except the HD channels. Just remember though, your HD box is the source, so if you change channels manually through the HD box, you screw up what channel the TiVo "thinks" it is on.
