I set Nip/Tuck up as a record new only season pass. However, it records 3 episodes since F/X rebroadcasts it multiple times on day one. Any way to make it record only one except to set a manual timer.?

Try setting the SP to only keep one episode. This will cause it to overwrite, however, you need to make sure you watch the episode before the next one records.

I thought the whole point of a SP set to "record new" is that it will only record a new episode once in the 30-day period (or whatever that boundary is). I did not have this issue with Nip/Tuck, my SP recorded the premier once (I know this because I have the Keep Recordings set to 5).

windracer, I agree that's how it should work. For whatever reason mine didn't work that way.
