He recycled a handful of lines from the show (plus they ran a lot of clips) but he was generally pretty funny. Nicely self-effacing and Larry loved him to bits.

I though it was great. A caller asked a question I've had for a long time: (me paraphrasing) "Q:Why when people see one of your correspondents don't they just run the other way? A:Because people love to be on TV. If you show up with a camera crew they will sit and talk to you."
