HR10-250 BENQ PE8700 problem

Well sort of two problems. I am using the HDMI output. I see the following.

On a sdtv broadcast signal, if I set the projector to wide to stretch the picture horizontally, it does not quite make it. I see about 1/2" to 1" wide black vertical borders. Sometimes only on left (goes up to 1.5"), but generally on both sides.

On an HD broadcast, screen fills properly but sometimes I can see what appear to be one or two lines at the top which look like old analog VIR signals.

Has anyone else seen this. I hjave not seen this with other HD DVI-out devices like the Samsung TS160.

The projector is adjusted for no overscan with the border test image fully filling the white of the screen

I have a Sanyo PLV-Z2 front projector connected to my receiver (not the HR10-250) and I get one or two lines of overscan on Fox when they broadcast in HD OTA. When I run the HDNet test patterns on DirecTV, my scan is perfectly adjusted, so I'm assuming the problem lies with Fox. I don't care that much since I rarely watch Fox.

If it's only one or two lines, it may be easiest to adjust them out in the BenQ's service menu.
