My new HD Tivo is great, but I would like to add an Ethernet port like I did to my old standalone Tivo. There are USB ports on the HR10-250. Can I use a USB ethernet controller?

HMO = Home Media Option
There's a forum dedicated to HMO here.
Unknown at this time if HMO will be enabled on DirecTV DVRs.

Yes, you _can_ do all that, but none of it is easy for the HD Tivo. There's a different site out there where discussions about how to do that are not censored.
