In a Tivo with v1.3 only Quantum worked w/o modifing the ideturbo setting. Will a Maxtor work w/ v2.01 as the "A" drive

can the power supply handle two 7200's ? what wattage is that ps anyway

Don't waste money (or power/heat) on 7200RPM drives. It doesn't gain you anything. I can't comment on the non-Quantum A drive issue.

Yes, non-Quantum drives work as the A drive in 2.0.1, and no longer need the ideturbo mod.
