Record from TiVo to VCD?

I'd like to be able to take some shows I recorded on my Tivo and produce a VCD. Is this simple to do? Can I just take the video output and hook it into my computer's video card?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Most standard video cards do not accept video input, so you will most likely need to either install a specialized video capture card or hook up one of those add-on devices, like a Dazzle, to the USB port. There is also a consumer device out there that makes VCDs directly from any analog input (search the Coffee House for VCD). However IIRC they are kind of expensive (~$600).
