guys what "tools" do i need to upgrade from a 30GB A drive to a 60GB A drive?

You need the TIVOMAD utility.

I'm considering this myself. How much capacity do you get with a single 60 or 80 gig drive?

I think someone said to multiply the number of GB by 1.2 to get the number of hours, so 60 G = 72 hrs and 80 G = 96 hours. That seems about right since I added an 80 G drive to my 14 hr TiVo and now have almost 109 hrs.
