I recently purchased a Sony svr2000 model, and i tried to upgrade to a 80gig HD. All went well until i placed the new drive into the Tivo. I got a "severe error" and then i tried my original drive, same thing "severe error". Dont ask me how, i have posted what i did in many different posts and everyone says i did it correctly. I have a exact copy of a DRIVE THAT WILL NOT BOOT!
(ITS NOT THE JUMPERS...) ive been there and done that. I am asking anyone who might have a backup of the Sony svr2000 so i can complete my upgrade. I beg, and plead, you will be reimbursed.
