Suppress startup animation?
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Is there any way to do this? So I can just have it go right from startup to the Tivo menu?

I usually just hit the TiVo button - clears the animation right out immediately. Of course, my TiVo is either powered up, or I want to get to the menu, so I hit the TiVo button automatically...
But IIRC, there was a way to do it.

Why would you want to remove it? Man it's an awesome animation, besides just hit the tivo button and it's gone..
Or stop powering off your tivo.

My 2-year old loves the "TiVo Guy"
I've actually been trying to get more recordings of him> TiVo says they dont have any more or longer ones other than the catch as you can on their commercials.
If anyone knows how to get this sequence (or ay of the /Recording/Demo stuff) into Now Showing, please let me know!

Of course, if someone finds the MFS entry that points to the opening animation sequence, it could be replaced with anything you want. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif
Why am I obsessed with MFS?!
