Ok, This is a multi part question.

My 14 Tivo came back from RMA. I believe it is in virgin state. I want to upgrade it, and I know a lot has changed since I was here last (Couple months). Where's a good place to get the BEST and EASIEST info on such an upgrade? I keep hearing something about a bootable CD???

ALSO... My apartment doesn't currently have a phone line. Has anyone worked out an alternate method of updating that I can do TODAY? I'm dying to get this thing running before I leave for my sister's wedding. I will be around most of today, so I will be checking the board for updates. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Help me TivoUnderground... You're my only hope.

You need to do some (speed) reading. Start here and work your way down from the "Getting Started" to "Advanced" sections. In short, if you have a TCP/IP connection, most likely via DSL/Cable, you can get your guide data via that instead of the dialup modem. Good Luck!
