Hi,
I am at the stage where I need someone to test some things for me on a DirecTiVo. Ideally, I would like this person to have the following :-

o) A combo unit (obviously) that you don't mind pulling apart.
o) A serial cable hooked to a PC with a terminal program.
o) A couple of spare drives.
o) A reasonable working knowledge of Linux.
o) Spare time and patience.

HI TIVOMAD,
I for one cannot help on this but I am quite certain that there is 1001 maniacs in the DirecTivo forum ready to volunteer for the job.
