Per the agreement; for participation in the AVS TiVo forum, I would like to announce a successful Up-Grade of my HDR212.

Thank you to all, whom made the upgrade relatively simple and painless. However, a progress meter of some kind would be nice during the backup process.

The backup process took just under 4 hours (not virgin; tivo in use for approx 3 months.)

The TivoMad upgrade, to make the 60GIG Maxtor (white label; $120 from pricewatch.com) HDD bootable, was even easier than the backup.

Now, how can I add RAM? ;-)
