Modem Failure??????

Can anyone tell me what their TiVo did when the modem failed. My TiVo is in a loop of TiVo starting up, Just about their, Severe error has occured please do not turn off leave for three hours and if nothing changes call for service.

I am no expert but this does not look good.

Any ideas???

What you describe is not a dead modem but a hard drive problem.
