So I got my phone line fixed and I'm breezing through guided setup until I come to the satellite/cable lineup stuff. So my apartment complex here in Atlanta is weird, and we get our basic cable (local channels, etc) from a company called Premier Home. From my understanding, the cable is actually a shared satellite reception from Dish Network. But it comes from the standard cable jack in the apartment, no box needed. I also have a Dish Network package from the same company, Premier Home, which gives me the extra channels. So I set up the Dish Network stuff through my satellite receiver just fine, but I cannot get the basic stuff to work. I tried setting it up as basic cable without a converter box, no go. I tried setting it up as cable with a box (since you can also send it through the satellite receiver), no go. So it's midnight and I can't get in touch with Tivo support or Premier Home and I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Please help! I started using the Tivo on my satellite channels and I'm so hooked already. I really need to get this all figured out... the Tivo is so cool but I'm having so many issues! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif
