Does Jpaqs script work with DSL?

I am new to tivo hacking and I am an NT guy. I was wondering if there was a way to get the script for getting PPV data to work with a DSL connection.

Is there a how to or anything that will take me step by step?

I do have a tivonet board and I can telnet to it, if that helps.
