The BlessTiVo added B drive is the same for SA and DTiVo's. The only caveat is getting/making a backup before performing blessed B drive upgrade - thats a bit trickier with the MAC.

For the backup of the A drive, can I just perform a dd of the drive via Mac OS X (or my Sun Ultra 5)? Any chance I could get a Linux/PPC or Linux/sparc compiled version of MFS Tools? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I suppose I'd still have issues with getting the two drives

dd on any platform should work. Just remember to adjust the parameters to the idiosyncrasies of it (e.g., your hard drive might not be /dev/hda, etc).
