I just got my TivoNet working, I was able to telnet into
my Tivo successfully.. I'm trying to put files in /hack/bin, and it's giving me an error about being a
Read Only Filesystem..
what am I missing?
thanks!!

The root partition is mounted read only. You can mount it read/write or you can just put your files somewhere off in /var, which is not read only.

the commands your looking for are:
mount -o remount,rw /
so you can write to the drive.
mount -o remount,ro /
will set the drive back to read only.
the var dir is read and write all the time.
so a lot of people but there hack files in /var/hack.
good luck and have fun.
