I just won a tivo box, and have one already. It's not that I don't want two Tivo's in my house, but I would love to give my parents one for their xmas - only problem is, they live in the UK, and I live in the USA.
Given all of the format and frequency differences that exist between the two countries, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was a whole different PCB used in the UK box, or are there some jumpers or switches that can enable me to use the US system in the UK?

It's possible to do thorugh some serious hacking, however you're better off selling it and using the money to get a UK version.
