Hi all,
I have been lurking here now for the past 6 months, and I now have a problem. I have managed to have both my rc.sysinit files (partition 4 and 7) not executable. My machine just hangs at the start screen. Is it possible to get a boot disk with chmod that will be able to see the Tivo disk. The dylan disk is great, I can mount the Tivo, but no chmod. There are numerous boot disk distributions that have chmod, but can't mount the Tivo disk. I can't get to the bash shell to edit from the serial port either. I could restore from back up, but I have 20hrs of "SportsNight" that I would prefer not to lose.

Any suggestions,
