Can I save the 30 minute buffer to disk??

I was watching TV today when I saw a very funny FedEx commercial, the one where they tag a "no-name" driver like a endangered species animal as an alternative to tracking your shipment.
I thought it would be great to save it to disk and watch it later or show it to friends.
Is there a way to replay the 30 minute buffer and save this in my now playing list?
Thanks.

I just got off of the phone to a rep (BELIEVE IT OR NOT I GOT THRU ... after holding for thirty minutes ... ) and they told me that he did not kno the answer but maybe his supervisor would know (that person would be back tommorow). I would also like to find this out, it is a good question!!
Hope we can get an answer here.

In version 2.0, when you press the record button to start recording a show in progress, any elapsed part of the show in the 30 minute buffer will be saved with the recording.

Thanks
Looks like I need to wait until I get Version 2.0, unless someone else has an idea until then.
BTW, when should I expect to get version 2.0. I have a Sony with 1.3.

IIRC, there was a press release that said 2.0 will be ready for the masses sometime in Jan.

til 2.0 comes out, if you've got Tivo connected to your VCR, you could play the buffered show and tape it at the same time. this would at least save the material for later replay.
