They need to add a feature that allows you to save a portion of a recorded show. For instance, there are often very funny skits on Conan O'Brien that I want to save to show my friends at a later time. However, I don't want to crowd my TiVo with 45 minutes or so of programming I've already watched and don't want to keep. Surely there is some way to add a "cut" feature to the TiVo.
