After still finding no information at retail outlets I decided to call The Sky / Tivo Hotline and place an order there.

I called the number and spoke to a very nice woman who had completed her training only 30 minutes before my call http://www.avsforum.com/ubbtivo/smile.gif

She was *so* pleased that I did not want to know anything about the product, I even told her why I wanted one, what made it good for me etc.

My details and credit card number was taken, they are to call back tomorrow to tell me when to expect delivery.

So Sky, I have put my trust in you.

I don't know about your Lord over there, but ours is pretty ambivalent about souks. He is quite fond of soups, and loves sours, but souks just don't even really show up on his radar. http://www.avsforum.com/ubbtivo/smile.gif

I read a message saying that their credit card had been charged Friday, and they got the box today.

I called my CC company and it had not been charged so I called the Tivo / Sky number to check. You need to remember that I had been told last week that my order was confirmed, and I had made it before they run out of boxes.

Guess what, I was not going to get my box as I had not made "the cut" and would not be getting my box soon.

Aw, nuts. Really sorry to hear that.

If it's any consolation, I had the same trouble getting hold of an ONdigital box when they first came out a couple of years back.
