After reading the posts in here and judging by the problems I have had myself, I would like to know if we are all acting as beta testers for the Tevo software? I think as a gesture of goodwill Tevo should give us free subscription for a year.

Personally I'd prefer TiVo to stay in business rather than go bust with 'gesture(s) of goodwill'. Perhaps you shouldn't buy an early model of such a revolutionary device if you aren't prepared to be patient with teething problems.
