Here's a problem with the TiVo which occured with manual recordings. I had a manual recording of one channel called (UKHORIZ - I can't remember the exact name) - anyhow when TiVO changed the name of this channel (which was done because it shares channel space with UK Style on ONDigital) and created the new channel UKSTHO, my TO DO LIST then showed my manual recordings with ??? in the channel number and name. At first I didn't know why this was so I pressed select to look at the recording - when I did the TiVo automatically rebooted.

Did you try this again? In other words was it a one off reboot or did it happen every time you tried to access the item?

How did you delete or change the item if you can't access it?

Did the item change once the box had rebooted?

Exactly the same thing happened to me when I tried to get more info on one of the UK HOrizons '???' programmes. I was a little miffed because with backdoors enabled I can see the uptime on my TiVo - it just went from forty something days to 0 ;(
