Change in OnDigital Line-up

My wife works for OnDigital, and we've had our box updated to a new version of the OnDigital software, and several channels have moved...

Sky 1 is now on channel 17
Carton Cinema is now on 26
Eurosport is now on channel 20

This is slightly annoying (Tivo carefully records an hour of an old movie instead of Buffy), and I wondered if anyone had any ideas of how it could be fixed?

Perform a 'store' - found in 'getting started' from the menu

You could try manually switching the channels back to where they should be...

Thanks loads, worked perfectly. I had to phone OnDigital to get my PIN number, having spent a little time looking for the "store" function on the Tivo :-)

Thanks again.

I'd be interested to know why that worked, if there is a simple explaination and you've got a moment.

Lots Of Love

A "Store Channels" on onDigital will go through each muliplex broadcasting in your area and store the channels at their default channel number. This will undo any swapping you have done before. This is one of the reasons for the warning message. If you want to do a store channels without knowing your PIN code just remove your smartcard first.

Thanks for that, though now I'm curious as to why OnDigital moved the channels (because it was a different transmitter? Though surely that would mean different frequencies and thus require the use of the "store" function before it would work).

I also wonder if I've mucked up their test, but I guess not.

Thanks a lot for the information.
