Does phillips always ship 2 for the price of 1?

I was fortunate enough to get a couple of DirecTivo's with the free circuit city deal, but both of them had bad remotes. I called in to get replacement remotes, and instead of getting 2 remotes, I got 4.

Anyone here know whether they'd want the extra's back? I don't have the number any more, but I suppose tivo customer care will know who I could send these to...

If not, I guess I've got a couple of spares...

On another note, I placed my first order from the tivo store last week, after problems with fedex not getting the package here on time friday, i was finally able to pick up my package today. However, the main item I ordered (the fleece blanket) Didn't arrive. It wasn't listed on the packing list either, but it WAS listed in the shipment confirmation email I received.

Anyone want to trade 2 Dtivo remotes for a fleece blanket? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Near the end of last month CC was selling Direct TiVos for $99 with a $100 rebate, so the units were pretty much free. Don't think that deal is available right now, but keep your eyes and ears open.

Great service from the Tivo Store... I emailed them yesterday to tell them the blanket I ordered hadn't arrived with my other items, and they overnighted one out to me, got it this morning.

What is normal delvery time from the TiVo store? I ordered a replacement remote on 10/9 (at least that's the day my credit card was charged), and I haven't received anything.

I guess I had the evil brother shipping clerk. I ordered replacement remotes for 2 DTivo's and got 1 even though the packing slip said the shipped 2. I called the other day and thay said they would send me the other one.

Shipping them back would probably cost more to Philips than they are worth or the cost to fix them.

Re: Tivo store delivery time, I believe the website says if you order before 10am it should ship the same day, otherwise next day. I am not sure if mine shipped next day, I think it took 2 days to ship, and I ordered 2 day air service. Fedex botched the delivery though, and instead of getting the package to me on friday before I left town, didn't get it to me till wednesday when I got back. (The package spent 2 nights in an oakland warehouse before it got on a plane for Omaha...)

Re: The blanket I received from the tivo store-- Love it, nice blanket, thin, but fairly warm... color is nice, tivo logo looks really sharp. I have but one complaint about it... the pocket is too small for a full grown man's size 11's. Other than that, it's great.

What is a "pocket" on a blanket? Also, does the blanket come in a King size for a King size bed?

That's weard when i called up to order my replacment remote they said all of the TiVo remotes were on backorder and would not be in till Early March
