When watching a programme which has been recorded, the TiVo button seems to do different things:

Usually, it will bring up the delete/do not delete menu, but will sometimes go to TiVo Central.

It is useful to be able to delete something with a few keystrokes after it has finished (so long as Tivo has not cut off the end) but can be frustrating on those times when I need to through the Now Playing menu.

I can't see any pattern as to which menu it goes to. Anyone else any ideas?

The delete option always appears when you are currently viewing anywhere within the last five minutes of a programme.

The best thing to do is to use the LEFT button instead of TiVo which will either bring up the delete option if you are in the last five minutes, or go back to the Now Playing entry where you can select delete.

Alternatively you can press the advance to end ->| button to move to the end, then press LEFT or TIVO to have the delete menu pop up.
