Probably an FAQ but every time i arrive home from work or wake up i find that Tivo has been busy, sometimes i'm glad of the programmes it has captured for me, but it keeps trying to record PPV movies, which means 2 hours of blank screen being saved to disk.

Can i tell Tivo to ignore the PPV channels? (but not take them out of the channel listings, as sometimes i do watch the movies)

Sure - just remove them from the 'Channels You Watch' list. It doesn't prevent you from tuning to those channels, and it still gets the listings for them. It will stop TiVo recording PPV movies as suggestions, and just about the only side effect is that the PPV movies will no longer show up in the 'search by name' listings. (Although you can of course still browse them in 'Search by channel')
