Scrapheap Challenge (Sun 11th)

Despite all evidence to the contrary (Digiguide, Radio Times, Teletext, Sky EPG etc) TiVo has decided that the Scrapheap Challenge I previously scheduled to record tonight (Sun 11th) has been replaced by an episode of Friends.

I'll add this to the bad listings thread when I can find it, but I thought it might be useful for people who might be wanting to see Scrapheap Challenge to find out before it's too late. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif

I have two TiVo's and both have Scraphead Challenge listed for tonight at 6pm on Channel 4. Thats on terrestrial, ITV Digital, and NTL Digital versions of Channel 4.

When was the last time you had a successful daily call?

Hi,

Mine changed as well for Sky Digital 104. Now says Friends. Quickly changed it to a manual recording.

My last successful call was this morning at 10:33.

Haven't seen this problem before.

In my listings it now shows Friends and for my Scrapheap Challenge season pass it shows none upcoming, although the final is next week.

Fortunately I was watching live. My last phone update was this morning

I had the same info on my banner but after a problem with listings the other week for scrapheap when the time changed I set it up for a man record. So thankfully I had no problems.

I assumed it wasn't on because I had a season pass set up for it and nothing happened. I also had a quick browse of the channels and didn't see it (now I know why)

Why use manual record?

I just recorded the episode of Friends and watched it as Scrapheap Challenge. It was the same length, so you could still record it by title - albeit under the wrong description.

I had a season pass set up for it and it still recorded it fine. Indexed as scrapheap as well.

There is nothing listed for next week though.

How often does this sort of thing happen? I've only had the tivo for 5 days so far but if this sort of thing happens often...

Mine definately did as I sat and watched it. I had noticed that the listing had changed to friends so was interested to see what happened.

So far my experiences with the tivo have been so-so. I like the technology - its a great idea but the listings have problems and the bbc chopping the end (I know, not tivos fault) of episodes is not good. It also seems to take a long time to add a recording (from selecting the "record this episode" to the "this program will be recorded")

I'll stick with it...

oh crap!

I had a SP for scrapheap, and it didn't record. I had an episode of friends as a suggestion though. Looked at the synopsis, and deleted it as I'd already seen that episode. I guess I prolly deleted scrapheap http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif

Does the new version of the sw have an undelete function?! I'd have used it several times by now if it did...

This is odd. Mine definately had scrapheap as a SP - I set it up on Thursday. I noticed on Sunday morning that the epg data listed friends so i checked the todo list and scrapheap was still in there.

Come 6 oclock the tivo started recording C4 as expected and "Scrapheap Challenge" appeared in now playing.

The only thing that mentioned Friends was the listing data.

I do not believe it is a 2.5.5 version, or is planned in the near future.
