live tv button kills sky

Just had a weird problem. When I hit the livetv / menu button, tivo went to the blue screen of death / unhappy tivo. The only way to get tv back was to turn sky off then on again.

The fix was to connect the sky box direct to the tv, go to scart control (which was ON) - turn it off, save settings, turn it back on again, save settings. CS bod at tivo said he hadn't come across this problm before (or is that excuse copyrighted by Sky??? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif )

Sky do TiVo customer service so you are probably quite right!

Just say "ok, it's obvious your training isn't complete if you aren't aware of all the current problems - please put me through to your supervisor and I'll complain on your behalf" http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Strange, that happened to me last night. I thought I must have hit the wrong button but on reflection there isn't any button on the TiVo remote that could have turned off the DigiBox alone.

I'll check tonight if it happens again and, if so, I'll try your "cure".
