Also if you have a PS2 a Sony remote is now out with a software update for the DVD part of the machine (uses 2megs of memory from a memory card) - Cost Ł20.00. (Possibly looks like this http://www.micmic.com.hk/videogame/...sony_remote.htm ). I understand Blockbusters have them...

I understand DVD Region X can be updated to use this new s/w (not confirmed).

I can now confirm that the DVD RegionX gadget does work with the new Sony remote & s/w (hex code has to be updated for EURO REMOTE 2.10).
Visit http://www.dvdregionx.com for the X-Code update.

However, normal keypad has to be used to pick region before dvd ir works.

Got my IR remote from Electronics Boutique and it's packaged like the one linked in the previous message.

It's not bad but a little light weight.
