I Know I saw this somewhere on the AVS, but why is my MAXTOR 80GB only showing up as 33GB?

Assuming you are refering to numbers from the boot disk, you probably have the jumpers set wrong. The instructions have two diagrams. The one on the back is "Cylinder Limitation Option" and limits the number of cylinders, resulting in an apparently-smaller drive.

There should only be one vertical jumper in J50 for Master, and no vertical jumpers for slave. (Horizontal jumpers on the top row are in storage position.)

If that does not help, it could be your BIOS. Set your the drive to none in the BIOS and let the BlessTiVo disk identify the size instead.
