Tivo & Apache?

Okay, so we can establish a serial connection, get into the system, compile and install new software, and we've hacked the program guide.

Could we:
-Install a stripped down HTTP server w/perl (Apache's a little too big, but it's an eye-catcher in the title)
Sound like it. We can do file xfers and run GCC. Are the serial port & modem standard enough to use as HTTP ports via SLIP?
-Write a set of pages/scripts that would allow the user to view program data and modify programming information.
Sounds like the program guide's been well documented. How about the programming info? Any inroads into that?
-Connect to a host machine and give the Tivo an IP (do they already have one for the Call Home?)

I'd love to have remote access to my Tivo's guide.
