We hope your family is safe and close.

And we are so very thankful for all the feedback and enthusiasm you take so much time to give us here.

Happy Turkey Day to you too RB.

My wife, 11month old son and myself were at Macy's this morning at the parade....thanks to Tivo, we got home and were able to see how things looked to the rest of the world!

BTW....Watching the parade on TiVo is MUCH better....a lot warmer sitting in front of a fire watching the parade, and no waiting for the next float to show up! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

I, for one, am thoroughly disgusted. Now TiVo is trying to advertise HOLIDAYS in their forums! What, now RB is getting paid off by the turkey makers?? When will the madness cease?!? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif

In all honesty, TiVo is great for things like parades. I was in one (the Detroit parade) and it took me all of about 1 minute to get to exactly where we were in the parade. I can't tell you how much I love the skip-to-tick feature. It's a REAL timesaver.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

RB, best to you and everyone at TiVo (and for that matter, everyone here).

It is about 8:20 in the evening. We are back from eating too much at my brother's. Now I am sitting here in front of the TV deciding whether to start watching Everybody Loves Raymond or Yes, Minister and I can not imagine TV any other way. For that, I thank all of you from TiVo.

Nah. I can get that out of a box.

Lumps is how you can tell they're "real"! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving to all at the TiVo Community, to David Bott et. al. who make this forum possible, and to RB (and the new Pres who starches his shirts) and the wonderful folks at TiVo who run "a different kind of company".

And, while I'm at it, I hope you guys at TiVo can manage to remain independent and make all the "smart" people out there (who said you'd be bankrupt this time last year) eat their words and a whole lotta crow this time next year. Good luck!

I managed to convince both sets of parents(mine and my wifes) to get a TiVo!

They asked me what that box was with the little guy on it, and so I showed them. They were amazed at what it can do.

ALthough I forsee some installation issues for me, it will be fun. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Happy Thanksgiving.. Ooohh... Day after now..

RB, thanks to you, especially, for shouldering more than your share. And thanks to Tivo and company(s). I'm thankful you all are still here, making our lives fun.

This is my 2nd Thanksgiving with my Tivos (now 3). No problems, all satisfaction. Just keep on doing what you're doing.

9-11 made me re-prioritize what I consider most important in life. Tivo slipped to 3rd, after family and friends. Still, it's the most important inanimate object in my life. Not bad given the "toys" I see around me.

My wife who has her own Tivo would also like to say "THANKS TIVO", and thanks again Richard. Not many products or people give so much for so little.

I would like to add my thanks to TiVo also. One of the best gadgets I have gotten in a long time. I realize that calling it a gadget sells it a little short, but when you are in gadget mode, you are in gadget mode...Richard...Hope that your Thanksgiving was great!

Happy, belated T-Day RB and all at the fine TiVo establishment!

And yes, I think I sold about three more TiVos (to not-yet-TiVoites) at my mom's today!
