newbie question on buttons

Hi, folks. Happy Thanksgiving! (belated, but still in the spirit)
Wondering if there's a way to get the TiVo remote to do the switch to Video1 necessary with my Sony TV. I've got the Cable split to TV and TiVo, so I can watch TV separately. Currently, I have to hit the Video button on the TV remote to change video source, which seems antithetical to the 1-remote TiVo theory. I'm surprised there isn't an obvious button for that, from newbie viewpoint.
Can I use the TiVo remote to change video sources on the TV?
TIA.

There's a new TiVo remote coming out next week with the button and functionality you desire.

Thanks. 'Course, as usual, I'm a day short and a dollar late...

The Sony DirecTiVo remote has the video button. I was heartbroken when I discovered the SA remote didn't...

What is it about the Silver ones?

NBD, I just double-stick-taped the 2 remotes together, back to back. I dunno how I'm gonna change the batteries, though.
