No Sound

Well looks like I'm in a fix.

All of the sudden - no sound. Nothing out the RCA's or the Coax. Perfect picture. Actually I have very very very faint sound out of the bottom set of RCAs and nasty faint sound out of the Coax.

It appears I'm not alone with this problem.

The unit has been opened, so Philips won't do the exchange thing. And I'm 1 month out of warranty anyways.

Any of you technical wizards want to fix this for me? Let me know your price.

This won't fix it, but someone else was having a problem similar to yours. He found that if he unplugged his TiVo so it cooled down, then restart it, sound worked again, then failed as the unit warmed up. Does your TiVo do this? It's quite possible that there might be a problem a few people have found.
