I had my first Tivo for only 1 day and the video went out. I just got my new one back and quite often when I press the live TV guide button to get the guide it comes up but takes a couple of minutes to fill screen. Each channel comes up real slow. It does it about half the time. The next time I check guide data it might be fine. I have rebooted but doesn't seem to help. Do I have another bad tivo :-(

When I have seen this, booting the tivo has always fixed the problem.

Maybe you do have a second bad unit.

Is this just after it's done a daily call? If so it's busy processing the new guide info and it will be a bit slower. I don't notice it very often as I don't often use the guide. I'm always watching something that TiVo already recorded.
