I recently purchased a Ranger 5000 descrambler for my Tivo (for the record, my college dorm does not allow students to purchase extra channels, and this was my only option to get what i wanted!!!)...
There is obviously not a "Ranger" selection for the IR transmitter in the cable box setup-- Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this? The friendly Tivo customer support said they don't support it (as they shouldn't) but suggested G.I., Scientific Atlanta, and Clearview. They don't work.
