Non quantum A drive problem

I made what I thought was a successful copy of my 15Gb 'A' drive to a 30Gb Maxtor using Dylan's boot disk. Now I am trying to prepare it for use using sec 4.10 of the faq. when I enter the mount command in step three (mount/dev/hdc4/mnt)I get an error that repeats my command and adds "not found" to the end. The drive is connected as the secondary master so I use hdc4. I have checked the spelling several times with no luck.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? The backup took an hour or two and appeared successful as both numbers matched (can't recall what they were though).

Linux is picky about spaces and such, maybe you just need a space between "mount" and "/dev/hdc4/mnt".

I believe I tried that, but I will try again. Should there be a space or not?

There should be a space after the "mount" command.

By the way, if your TiVO has the 2.0 software already the steps in 4.10 are no longer necessary. They are only needed if you are at version 1.3 or lower.

There should also be a space between hda4 and /mnt

code:
mount /dev/hdc4 /mnt

Everything I need to know, I learned from Moe.

The spaces at BOTH ends were the culprits!

Thanks!!
