I have no email registered with TIVO...

I see that TiVo offers several features over the net... the My Tivo area, E-mail announcements, etc...

My problem is that I never gave TiVo my email, as my box shipped with unlimited service already activated...

Am i missing out on any cool feature in My TiVo (the area on the website.... im sorta unclear what it does to begin with.)

You can either call Customer Care and ask them to add your e-mail address to your account or drop a line with your name, e-mail address and TiVo Service Number to manage@tivo.com and ask nicely and I'll fix you up!

Do DirecTiVo customers get to use the My Tivo Account stuff or is that only for SA Tivo customers?

same boat here. Box came activated with lifetime directly from TiVo. I don't get any of those emails people talk about (like the Lexus one). Of course, it probably means I won't ever get my window cling. But I'll live. I don't think I am missign a thing.

Still never saw that Star message about Series 2 either.
