Cable company changed stations on me...

My cable company switched the stations around a few days ago. I have made the call to the cable company every day since the change and my Tivo has not updated the changes. When the recorder was set to record a program on a specific station it recorded the wrong program....any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

I don't subscribe to Adelphia cable since I have DirecTV, but the problem may last until Tribune, the company that supplies guide data to your TiVo, updates the lineup to reflect the changes. Until then you can set manual recordings for specific times and channels. Or take the easy way out and get DirecTV and a DirecTiVo. :)

Dont blame tribune too quckly, my cable company likes to change their lineup almost monthly.
Luckly however, my TiVo is allways on the ball and gets these changes the exact day they change! I've been impressed.

It definitely wouldn't hurt to fill out this form.
Adelphia apparently changed the lineups on all their Southern California systems, so you're not alone. I only had a handful of channels change, though, and it wasn't really anything I ever watched. I did fill out the form on December 30th, and hopefully Tribune will figure out they need to get in touch with Adelphia sooner rather than later.

I wasn't really blaming Tribune, just pointing out why the guide data is messed up. Adelphia should have made sure Tribune had the new lineup. If Adelphia did notify Tribune, then it is Tribune's fault. I would tend to think Adelphia dropped the ball.

Why call the cable company? It's TiVo you should call, but since you filled out the form, that shouldn't be necessary now.

The recorder is now in check with the cable lineup...now it is time to upgrade the measly hard drive!

While most of the lineup was also fixed in my area for Adelphia, I still need the cable-ready lineup. Some of my favorite channels (like Bravo) got shifted to the 9x range.
And they're showing Run Lola Run on Bravo this Friday...

I used the TiVo listings form as well as submitting the lineup (complete with the numbers and channel IDs) via the GIST lineup form and tv.zap2it.com lineup form.
It took a week to get the lineup changed. Much faster than the few months that I used to wait.
