Check out my successful upgrade to an 80Gb hard drive. Caution: harsh language.

This is not meant to be a technical tutorial... just a summary of how it went down.

If I can do it then I'm sure that you can.

Best,

Joe

How do you resize the frames in IE so then I don't have to scroll so much?

Just to let you know Joe, I read your upgrade story via the link to your personal website. Way tooooo funny. Any last bit of hesitation I had in breaking the seal on my Sony S/A is now gone. I figure if you could survive all that I could too. Thanks for the laugh....I needed it.

P.S. GREAT Website. I suppose after jumping out of an airplane on a regular basis there's not much left in the way of challenges.....good for you man! I would really like to try it one day, but I fear the only way my *ss is ever leaving the plane is with a boot up it.

I have a 14-hour and 20-hour unit. I've already printed the manual and made all the boot disks that I will need even before I order to the parts (brackets from 9th Tee, 80GB HD's).

I just need to test the boot cd and boot disks. I'm using Windows XP Pro.

Lam, Thanks for the kind words! Good luck with your upgrade and make sure that you post a quick summary. I assure you that it will go well... eventually. So just let me know when you're ready to jump out of an airplane and I'll set you up. Best, Joe
