Ok, My Hughes GXCEBOT is now officially out of warranty and I am going to upgrade it just as soon as I finish building my new computer. :D My question is this, since I haven’t cracked the case can anyone tell me how many drives are in it, my guess is one 40g. If it is only one 40g, is it better to replace the drive with a larger one (80-120g) or just add a B drive, and if I add a B drive is there space to mount the drive in the case or should I get a mounting kit ? Thanks

I just upgraded my Hughes 3 weeks ago. One 40GB drive. You will need a Y cable splitter to split the power cable and a new IDE ribbon with two connectors if you add an extra hard drive, which I recommend. If you add the B drive, there is space to mount the drive, and all you need is 4 screws to mount the B drive next to the A drive. No need for mounting kit.

Good luck and have fun with it.
