I have a sony svr-2000 and I would like to add a 120 gig hdd to it while using the original one. Do I just need the mounting hardware that is on 9th tees website. Do I need one or two IDE cables from thier website?

You shouldn't -- the Sony has a dual drive IDE cable already in it. Just the bracket is all you should need.

Right - just the bracket. But note that the second power connector is wrapped with a cable tie against some other wires - you'll have to clip the tie to free it.
