DirectTivo post upgrade rebooting??

I upgraded (using Hinsdale's guide) my single drive Phillips DirectTivo yesterday with an 80 gb seagate drive using it as the B drive. Everything worked well overnight and all yesterday and this morning I awoke to it being stuck on the powering up screen. I unplugged it and replugged it in and that seemed to fixed the problem and it booted correctly but then it started rebooting after a few minutes, finally booted again and then once again rebooted where it got stuck. I unplugged it at this point. I searched the boards but wondered if someone that had upgraded a Dtivo had similar problems or could offer guidance. Thanks.

I upgraded my Phillips DSR 6000 as well over the Christmas break. I followed Tinsdale's guide ( which is awesome ) and everything worked great with one tuner activated.

When I received my second TiVo ( single drive ) I let it burn in for a week beofre the upgrade. I did a factory recertify on my new Maxtor 80GB drive. I followed the directions and did the backup of the A drive. After the upgrade my new TiVo worked fine with one tuner enabled. I let this run for a week after the upgrade with no issues encountered.

Last night I swapped my units and reconfigured the upgraded unit to use two tuners. Once I did this the new TiVo unit reboots every 15 minutes ( it successfully goes through power up and acquires signal).

Any ideas on how I can remedy the situation? Do I need to go back to the back up and reconfigure using dual tuner and then do the upgrade?

Thanks,
Mike
