Jumping soon... a question of brackets

This weekend I hope to take the upgrade plunge... but I have one question remaining.

Assuming that I have a single drive DirecTivo, how do I attach the new second drive? I've seen a bracket from 9th tee discussed, but didn't know if local stores would carry the hardware necessary or if 9th tee is making a killing with everyone ordering brackets from them.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is space right next to the other unit. The existing bracket is made for 2 HDDs..

All Direct TV Tivo's have a space to attach the second drive. All you need are the screws.

If it's a Hughes you will need a two-drive IDE cable and a Y-adaptor for the drive power. Sony and Philips machines already have these.

Thanks for the help.

I'm installing a 120GB Maxtor in a Phillips DirecTivo. Does anyone have the details on the screws to buy? I'd like to be all set and not make a run in the midst of the upgrade

Just 4 regular hard-drive mount screws. If you bought the drive retail it probably came with them.
