Hi Folks,

I really don't like the guide screen -- it is hard to use when you are trying to find something to watch, especially when the show has not yet begun. Plus I have way too many channels to search through.

What I would like to see is a "What's on now?" screen. What you would do is pick a category (movies, sports, nature, etc...) and tivo would show you what shows will be on within the next hour or so. This way if I feel like watching a movie, I can see all the movies that will be starting soon without having to scroll though all the movie channels in the guide.

Any thoughts?

The Guide in Live TV has a Filters option that can highlight shows of a selected category. If there are no shows in that category on a channel, that channel isn't listed. E.g., if your category is Movies, you won't see MSCNNHNFNNBCSPAN listed.
