TiVo and Zenith DTV 1080

Is there anyway to set up a standalone TiVo to control channels on a Zenith DTV 1080 HD DTV Tuner? I have tried all the Zenith codes with the blaster with no success.

This leaves me, obviously, with a poorly integrated system. Any ideas short of getting a DTiVo?

I am not familiar with this box, so this is a shot in the dark. Even though it may say Zenith of the front, maybe it's made by another company. Look on the back, or check the instruction booklet that came with it, it may say Manufactured by........... If you have a manufacturers name, try codes for that.

I'm in the same boat as you. In fact, I regret having bought the Zenith now.

I tried calling Philips and they wre no help.

Have you had any luck?

Has anybody here actually called TiVo to see if they know about this product? Seems they'd be able to talk to the manufacturer and get the IR codes loaded into their database...

I've a better idea. Either the moderators should move this over to the help section where it should be, or more likely, the moderators should put their mojo-alias detectors back on ... the latter will more probably solve this particular problem
