Lost "ls" and other commands

Hi guys,
I'm trying to de-install TiVo-net (don't ask) and I can get a Hyper-Terminal prompt to BASH, but if I try ls, joe, etc... I get command not found.
I tried looking for them on /mnt by doing a mount /dev/hda4 /mnt, but I can't find them there either (it's hard without an ls, ya know?)...
What am I missing here?... thanks in advance.

PS. I have cd, mount and other "standard" commands. I'm sure I copied on the devbin.gz files at some point... er, well I think I did.
PPS. TiVo-Net is and has been running fine.

I noticed that when you use the serial port for bash, it doesn't set the path properly and you need to fix that.
PATH=/tivo-bin/:/bin:/sbin:/tvbin:/devbin:/hack/bin/
export PATH
and then try to ls, etc...
Best of Luck!
